Can breathable workwear be embroidered?

Yes. All of our breathable garments can be embroidered, screen printed, or DTF printed in-house at our Dunstable factory. Embroidery is best positioned in smaller areas (left chest, sleeve) on breathable garments to avoid reducing airflow across large sections of the fabric.

How should breathable workwear be washed?

Most breathable workwear should be washed at 30-40°C on a normal cycle and tumble-dried on a low setting. Avoid fabric softeners, which can coat moisture-wicking fibres and reduce their performance over time. Always check the individual garment care label, as some technical fabrics have specific requirements.

What’s the difference between breathable and waterproof breathable workwear?

Standard breathable workwear is designed to let moisture and heat escape from the inside of the garment outwards. Waterproof breathable workwear adds a membrane (such as a softshell or PU-coated layer) that blocks rain from entering while still allowing internal moisture to escape.
