Selecting the correct mask for your business has been a difficult topic to overcome as many people do not realise the differences between each of the different types. As with buying any other COVID-19 safety product it is important that you understand which mask you need for what applications.
Our FFP2 masks are designed for those working in high risk areas, potentially even in direct contact with an infected individual. Their contruction and valve system means that they meet the FFP2 standard, which means that they block out 95% of all particles and bacteria suspended in the air. They also provide the same protection as a type IIR mask against visible droplets of infections material. The valve system creates a simple escape route for exhaled breath, meaning the mask isn’t pushed away from the face and so a strong seal is maintained.
Our FFP2 masks feature a molded fabric body with an adjustable metal nose clip. As these masks are designed to be worn for extended periods of time they also feature a few more comfort facilities than their cheaper alternatives. The nose clip is supported by a foam insert that protects the wearer’s nose during use, and the circumference of the mask features a soft mesh to make it comfortable over long periods of time.
